Pattern:

CO in multiples of 12
Reversible knit stitch

Rows 1, 3, 5: *K6, {P1, K1} 3 times*
Row 2, 4, 6: *{K1, P1} 3 times, P6*
Row 7, 9, 11: *{K1, P1} 3 times, K6*
Row 8, 10, 12: *P6, {P1, K1} 3 times*
Repeat rows 1-12, until desired length
