:) About the Pattern:

  • Knits up in about 18-22 hours
  • Beginner skill level
  • Knit Flat {Back & Forth}
  • Blocking: Lightly block to even out the stitches
  • Measurements: 92″ {233cm} L x 10” {25cm} W
  • Gauge: 9 sts & 15 rows per 4” {10cm} square {knit flat}
  • Weight: 1 lb 6.8oz {645g}

:) Materials Needed:

  • Size US 11 {8mm} Knitting Needles
  • Approximately 400 yards of a super bulky yarn
  • {I used Lion Brand Wool Ease Thick & Quick Yarn}
  • {Learn About Yarn Substitutes.}

:) Notes:

  • The CO edge is the width.

:) Modification option:

  • The sides curl a little bit, so you could add a few stitches to create a border on each side.

:) Pattern, knit flat, back & forth:

  • CO 24 STS
  • Row 1 = Right/Front Side
  • Row 1: *P1, K3*
  • Row 2: K1 *P5, K1, P1, K1* P5, K1, P1
  • Row 3: K2 *P1, K3* P1, K1
  • Row 4: P2, K1, P1, K1 *P5, K1, P1, K1* P3
  • Repeat rows 1-4 for 92”, or desired length.
  • Add fringe {Optional}
  • Lightly block it by misting it with water, patting “dry” with a towel and lay flat to dry.
  • It will take several hours to completely dry.
