Notes:

  • Not reversible.
  • The CO edge is the width.
  • Knit using the Ripple Knit Stitch.
  • This cowl is knit flat, when you’re finished knitting you’ll sew the CO & BO edges together making it a cowl.

  • CO 30 STS

  • Row 1 {RS}: P3 *K1, K2TOG+1* P3
  • Row 2 {WS}: *P*
  • Row 3 {RS}: P3 *K2TOG+1, K1* P3
  • Row 4 {WS}: *P*
  •  
  • Repeat rows 1-4 until you’re about out of yarn and then bind-off in pattern.

  • If you’re going to block it, which I recommend, go ahead and do this prior to seaming it.
  •  
  • Sew the beginning and ending rows together to wear as a cowl or infinity scarf.
  •  
  • Weave in ends.
  •

  • * – * – repeat between * to end of round
  • BO – bind-off in pattern
  • CO – cast-on {long-tail cast-on method}
  • K – knit stitches {K1 means to knit 1 stitch}
  • K2TOG+1 – also known as RT or Right Twist – Knit 2 STS together, without dropping STS from left needle, knit into the first stitch, slip both STS to the right needle together
  • P – purl stitches {P2 means to purl 2 stitches}
  • RS – right side
  • STS – stitches
  • WS – wrong side
