DELIGHT Dishcloth Knitting Pattern by Brome Fields


:) About the Pattern:

  • Time it took me to knit: 3-5 hours
  • Gauge: 17 sts & 28 rows per 4” {10cm} square
  • Weight: 0.6oz {15g}
  • Measurements: 6 1/2” {16cm} x 6 1/2”{16cm}

Material:

  • Approximately 35 yards of a cotton yarn
  • I used Knit Picks, Color Mist, Vermillion
  • Size 6 {4mm} knitting needles
  • Darning needle
  • Scissors

Notes:

  • The CO edge is the width
  • To make it larger, CO in increments of 5 +1 +8

DELIGHT Dishcloth Knitting Pattern by Brome Fields


Pattern:

  • CO 34 STS
  • Row 1 {WS}: K4 *wyif S1PW, K4* wyif S1PW, K4
  • Row 2 {RS}: K4 *K1, P4* K1, K4
  • Repeat rows 1-2, 23 more times, or until desired length . The width of my dishcloth is 7”, I knitted until the length was about 7”, or until it’s square

To End:

  • Row 1 {WS}: K4 *wyif S1PW, K4* wyif S1PW, K4
  • BO in the Row 2 pattern

Blocking:

  • Block it if you’d like to, it’s not required, but it helps square it up and even out the stitches.
