  • Gauge: 15 sts & 12 rows per 4” {10cm} square {knit flat}

:) 4″ {15cm} Wide Pattern, knit flat, back and forth:

  • CO 3 STS
  • Row 01: K1, P1, K1
  • Row 02: K1, INC1, K1, INC1, K1
  • Row 03: K2, P1, K2
  • Row 04: K2, INC1, K1, INC1, K2
  • Row 05: K2, P3, K2
  • Row 06: K2, INC1, K3, INC1, K2
  • Row 07: K2, P5, K2
  • Row 08: *K*
  • Row 09: K2, *P*, K2
  • Repeat rows 08-09, 19 more times, approximately 16” {41cm} from the beginning.
  • Increase or decrease the number of times you repeat rows 09&10 to fit a larger or smaller head circumference.
  • Decrease:
  • Row 56: K2, K2TOG, K1, SSK, K2
  • Row 57: K2, P3, K2
  • Row 58: K2, K3TOG, K2
  • Row 59: K2, P1, K2
  • Row 60: K2TOG, K1, SSK
  • Row 61: BO the remaining 3 STS using P STS
  • Blocking:
  • Lightly block it by misting it with water, patting “dry” with a towel and lay flat to dry. It will take a few to several hours to completely dry. When dry, sew the ends together and add a button or your choice of embellishment.
