About:

  • Time it took me to knit: 6-7 hours
  • Dimensions {lying flat}: 20″ {51cm} tall x 32” {81cm} wide
  • Gauge: 16.5 sts & 26 rows per 4” {10cm} square

Material:

  • Approximately 200 yards of a DK weight yarn
  • I used Superwash Dewy DK, by Expression Fiber Arts
  • Color: Tree Frost
  • Size 7 {4.5mm} needles with 32″ {81cm} circular cable
  • Darning needle, or tool of choice to weave in ends
  • Scissors

Pattern:

  • Row 2 = Right Side
  • CO 3 STS
  • Row 01: K1, P1, K1
  • Row 02: K1, INC1, K1, INC1, K1
  • Row 03: K2, P1, K2
  • Row 04: K2, INC1, K1, INC1, K2
  • Row 05: K3, P1, K3
  • Row 06: K3, YO, K1, YO, K3
  • Row 07: K3, P3, K3
  • Row 08: K3, YO, K3, YO, K3
  • Row 09: K3, P5, K3
  • Row 10: K3, YO, K5, YO, K3
  • Row 11: K3, *P*, K3
  • Row 12: K3, YO, *K*, YO, K3
  • Repeat rows 11 & 12 until you have a total of 123 STS, minus the ribbed edge
  • {note: ending on row: K3, P123, K3}
  • {make sure you have enough yarn to knit the next 2 rows. You may want to end a couple of rows earlier. I only had about 12” of yarn left-over.}
  • Next row: *K*
  • BO in all knit STS

    For the INC1, what do you mean by a backwards loop? Is that the same as KFB? Thanks!
