Make a second the same as the first.
Block each one to measure 5 ¼” x 8 ½”. Allow to dry.
Sew the short side of A to the long side of B and then sew the short side of B to the long side of A. I had a hard time visualizing this, so I pinned it together with safety pins before I actually sewed it, so I knew I was doing it right.

When knitting in the round you’re always knitting the right side of your work.
This is snug and isn’t easy to get over her head and hands. You’ll knit the top front half and then the top back half and then join them together and knit in the round starting under the arms, so
you don’t have a seam. You could continue knitting them flat and seam it at the sides.
