:) Pattern:
CO 14 STS
Rows 1 – 111 (ODD rows, back): *P2, K2, P6, K2, P2*
Rows 2 – 110 (EVEN rows, except cable rows, front): *P4, K6, P4*
Cable Rows 8, 20, 32, 44, 56, 68, 80, 92, 104: *P4, C6F, P4*
Row 112: BO in pattern {meaning that you knit the knits and purl the purls just like you were doing in the body of the project.}
Modification:
If you’d like to make it longer, repeat rows 93-104 one more time before finishing 105-112.
Sew CO & BO edge together.
No blocking necessary, but it will look nicer ;)
How to Block {before sewing the ends together}:
Thread the wire through each purl loop on each long side of the headband.

I use these Knitter’s Pride Blocking Pin’s to pin to foam board. It’s a pinkish purple board that you can find at your local hardware store, even our small town hardware store carries it :).
FYI, Pink Panther is on the other side! ;)
Lightly stretch to 2 1/2-3″ wide by 18″ long.
Spritz with water.
Pat with a clean, dry towel to remove excess water.
Let dry overnight.
Now you can seam the short ends together and it’s ready to wear!
