» » » TIMELESS : Hoodie Sweater Knitting Pattern

FYI… This is my favorite sweater to date! {I only share the best one’s!}

:) About the Pattern:

Knits up in about… a lot of hours. I stopped counting because it doesn’t really matter, or at least it shouldn’t. I battle with Efficiency ;) The point of making my own clothes isn’t about being quick or efficient it’s about using my time to create something I love… and share it with y’all!

Difficulty level: Beginner

Written pattern, no chart

Knit from the bottom up, without seaming together, well… with very little seaming.

Includes 30″, 32″, 34″, 36″, 38″ & 40″ bust sizes.

Each size is written individually, so you get 6 different PDF’s to choose from and each one has a checklist for the collar and shoulder sections :)

Approximately 850-1200 yards of an aran weight yarn, depending on the size

A pair of Nirvana Craft Scissors

Stitch markers

Size 9 {5.5mm} needles with 32″ {81cm} circular cable

Size 9 {5.5mm} needles with 24″ {61cm} circular cable

Size 9 {5.5mm} needles with 16″ {41cm} circular cable

Size 9 {5.5mm} needles with 9″ {23cm} circular cable, optional for the sleeves.

Side note: If you only have the 32″ cable, you can get away with just using it, the other lengths just make it easier to knit.

Here’s a quick video to show you how easy it is to increase the sleeve stitches and without creating a gap, I really don’t like going back to touch things up. ;)

Here’s a review I did for this yarn:

I’m having trouble understanding how to connect the sleeves to the body. Anyone have any tips on this? The page in the pattern that describes the steps is broken up by notes and I’m not sure of the exact method. I’ve tried looking for any videos showing someone putting it together but there aren’t any out there, nor any written reviews about it. As you can tell, I haven’t knit very many sweaters. Please help :)

I didn’t find any videos either. I’ll work on one and let you know when it’s finished :)
