Video: How to Unknit {correct a mistake when knitting}

In this video I briefly describe how to unknit when you notice that you made a mistake a few stitches back…

I also have another video when you notice that stitch or stitches a few rows later.

Unknit isn’t technically a word, but it should be because I do it a lot! ;)
And, I’m pretty sure I’m not alone on this.

Unknit means to unravel your knitted project one stitch at a time, using your knitting needles.

When I was learning how to knit I talked to a few people about knitting versus crocheting and which one they preferred and they said that they preferred crocheting because if you make a mistake when knitting you have to unravel the whole thing and start over. That was a little discouraging, but not the whole truth. I’ve made lots of mistakes that were easily corrected by one of the methods above.

I hope this encourages you to keep knitting ;)

Have a wonderful day!
