Instructions

Knit flat using straight needles:

  • Row 1 (RS): *P1, K2, YO, SSK, K4, P1*
  • Row 2 (WS): *K1, P8, K1*
  • Row 3 (RS): *P1, K3, YO, SSK, K3, P1*
  • Row 4 (WS): *K1, P8, K1*
  • Row 5 (RS): *P1, K4, YO, SSK, K2, P1*
  • Row 6 (WS): *K1, P8, K1*
  • Row 7 (RS): *P1, K5, YO, SSK, K1, P1*
  • Row 8 (WS): *K1, P8, K1*
  • Row 9 (RS): *P1, C6B, YO, SSK, P1*
  • Row 10 (WS): *K1, P8, K1*
  • Repeat rows 1-10, until desired length

Abbreviations

  • *– * – repeat between *asterisks* to the end of the round
  • CO – cast-on (long-tail cast-on method)
  • C6B – cable 6 back - right cable - transfer 3 stitches to a cable needle and hold it in the back of your work, knit the next 3 stitches and then knit the 3 stitches off the cable needle
  • K – knit stitches (example: K1 means to knit 1 stitch)
  • P – purl stitches (example: P2 means to purl 2 stitches)
  • RS - right side rows
  • SSK – slip, slip, knit
  • WS - wrong side rows
  • YO – yarn over
