Cable Stitches
Sew Seam (Video tutorial)

Notes

Not reversible.
The CO edge is the height.
Knit using the cable knit stitch.

Gauge

14 STS & 15 rows per 4” (10cm) square, knit in the cable pattern

Gauge does not need to be exact for this easy cable headband knitting pattern. Choose a super bulky yarn and use the recommended needle size.

You’re looking for a comfortable, medium tension here. If your stitches are too tight, the cables can turn stiff and the fabric may not feel as nice to wear. If they’re too loose, the fabric can look a bit holey and the cables won’t be as squishy and defined.
