The CO edge is the width.

RS – right side
S1PW – slip one stitch purl-wise
STS – stitches
WS – wrong side
WYIF – with yarn in fronts

CO 36 STS

Row 1 (WS): *P2, K2, P2, K1, P2, K2, P1*

Row 2 (RS): *knit the knits and purl the purls of the previous row*

Row 3 (WS): *P1, K2, P2, K3, P2, K2*

Row 4 (RS): *knit the knits and purl the purls of the previous row*

Row 5 (WS): *K2, P2, K2, P1, K2, P2, K1*

Row 6 (RS): *knit the knits and purl the purls of the previous row*

Row 7 (WS): *K1, P2, K2, P3, K2, P2*

Row 8 (RS): *knit the knits and purl the purls of the previous row*

Repeat rows 1-8, for 79” (201cm) or until desired length.

BO loosely in pattern.

Note: To help keep track of each chevron, place a stitch marker in-between each repeat.

Weave in the ends.
