Pattern Instructions, Knit Flat

CO 16 STS

Row 1 (WS): *P*

Row 2 (RS): *S1KW, K1, PSSO, YO* Instead of doing a YO for the last stitch, increase the stitch at the end of the row by creating a backwards loop.

Repeat rows 1 & 2 until your desired length.

Weave in the ends.

No blocking necessary.

Fringe

Cut strips into 24” (61cm) lengths, you can make them as long or short as you’d like.

Hold the scarf with the front side up facing you. With the end pointing away from you.

Holding 2 scraps of yarn together, fold it in half and insert it into one of the bottom stitches, pull the 4 pieces of fringe through the hole and pull tight.

Using a crochet hook to pull the yarn through the hole.

Repeat for each stitch. I created 14 on each end.
