Materials:

Yarn Weight: Super Bulky
Yardage: 35-45 yards (32 – 41 meters)
Suggested Yarn: Lion Brand Wool Ease Thick & Quick
Needle Size: US 11 (8mm) Knitting Needles

Pattern:

CO in multiples of 11, plus 1 (12, 23, 34, etc.)
Row 1 = Right side/Front

CO 12 STS

Row 1: P1 *K6, K2TOG, K2, YO, P1*
Row 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14: K1 *P10, K1*
Row 3: P1 *K5, K2TOG, K2, YO, K1, P*
Row 5: P1 *K4, K2TOG, K2, YO, K2, P1*
Row 7: P1 *YO, K2, SL2TOG, K1, P2SSO, K2, YO, K3, P1*
Row 9: P1 *K1, YO, K2, SSK, K5, P1*
Row 11: P1 *K2, YO, K2, SSK, K4, P1*
Row 13: P1 *K3, YO, K2, K3TOG, K2, YO, P1*
Repeat Rows 3 – 14 until desired length

Abbreviations:

*– * – repeat between asterisks
CO – cast-on (long-tail cast-on method)
K – knit stitches (example: K1 means to knit 1 stitch)
K2TOG – knit 2 stitches together
K3TOG – knit 3 stitches together
SL2TOG – slip 2 stitches as if to knit together
P – purl stitches (example: P2 means to purl 2 stitches)
P2SSO – pass the 2 slipped stitches over the knit stitch
SSK – slip, slip, knit
STS – stitches
YO – yarn over
