24 Days of Knitting Hygge Bingo Challenge

I’m currently participating in a 30 Day Yoga Challenge. I’ve practiced yoga off and on for several years, but I haven’t been consistent with it, despite the benefits. I have been loving this challenge and it’s helped me be consistent for the last 14 days. :)

However, I am fairly consistent with my knitting routine, but I want to be more intentional with it. Intentional meaning that I want to create a hygge moment, a peaceful moment.

The dictionary.com definition of hygge is “A quality of coziness and comfortable conviviality that engenders a feeling of contentment or well-being (regarded as a defining characteristic of Danish culture).”

For most of us, knitting is more than just a pass-time, it’s therapy. It helps you find your inner peace and calm. I’m trying to find new ways to incorporate knitting into my everyday life moments to find more peace.

I thought it would be fun to create a 24 Day Knitting Hygge Bingo Challenge. I like the visual aide, it’s like checking something off my to-do list. :)

I used to want to do this to be more productive, so I can start my next project, but these days I need it to find my peace in the midst of the chaos.

I hope I’ve inspired you to create some peaceful moments in the midst of your chaos. Even if it’s only for 10 or 15 minutes, that’s okay, that’s enough.

How to stay motivated:
I know I need an accountability partner. I wouldn’t have finished the #100DaysofKnitStitches if it weren’t for you all doing it with me and encouraging me along the way.

Share it with your friends on Facebook or Instagram and tag it #knittinghyggebingo so we can cheer each other on!
