Needles: US 13 {9mm}
Yarn: Crazy Sexy Wool, Tweed Grey by Wool and the Gang

Pattern, Knit Flat:

CO in multiples of 6
This is not a reversible stitch, see the photos below
Row 1 = Right side/Front

For my swatch I CO 18 STS
Row 0: *P*

Row 01: *K2, P4*
Row 02: *K4, P2* {k the k’s, p the p’s}
Row 03: *K2, P4* {k the k’s, p the p’s}
Row 04: *K4, P2* {k the k’s, p the p’s}
Row 05: *K*
Row 06: *P*
Row 07: *P3, K2, P1*
Row 08: *K1, P2, K3* {k the k’s, p the p’s}
Row 09: *P3, K2, P1* {k the k’s, p the p’s}
Row 10: *K1, P2, K3* {k the k’s, p the p’s}
Row 11: *K*
Row 12: *P*
Repeat rows 1-12 until desired length.

If you’re not adding a border, to BO I recommend ending on a row 11 and BO in the row 12 pattern.

Abbreviations:

* – * – repeat pattern
BO – bind-off in pattern
CO – cast-on {long-tail cast-on method}
K – knit stitches {K1 means to knit 1 stitch}
P – purl stitches {P2 means to purl 2 stitches}
STS – stitches
