Yarn: Native Twist by Imperial Yarn


Pattern, Knit Flat:

CO in multiples of 14
This is not a reversible stitch, see the photos below
Row 1 = Right side/Front

For my swatch I CO 28 STS
Row 0: *K1, P1* {set-up row}

Row 01: *K*
Row 02: *K7, P5, K2*
Row 03: *K*
Row 04: *K7, P5, K2*
Row 05: *K*
Row 06: *P5, K2*
Row 07: *K*
Row 08: *P5, K2*
Row 09: *K*
Row 10: *P5, K2*
Row 11: *K*
Row 12: *P5, K2*
Row 13: *K*
Row 14: *P5, K9*
Row 15: *K*
Row 16: *P5, K9*
Row 17: *K*
Row 18: *P5, K2*
Row 19: *K*
Row 20: *P5, K2*
Row 21: *K*
Row 22: *P5, K2*
Row 23: *K*
Row 24: *P5, K2*
Repeat rows 1-24 until desired length.

If you’re not adding a border, to BO I recommend ending on a row 23 and BO in the row 24 pattern.


Abbreviations:

* – * – repeat pattern
BO – bind-off in pattern
CO – cast-on {long-tail cast-on method}
K – knit stitches {K1 means to knit 1 stitch}
P – purl stitches {P2 means to purl 2 stitches}
STS – stitches
