My thoughts:
I liked the Alternating Rib Stitch I used for my Super Simple Slouchy Hat Knitting Pattern.
So, I decided to switch it up a little bit and make it an Alternating Broken Rib Knit Stitch to add even more texture.
The yarn I’m using is Wool of the Andes by Knit Picks.
It’s called a bulky yarn and they recommend using size 10 needles, I used size 9. I think it’s a little on the thin side for a bulky yarn.
It’s a nice sturdy yarn that’s durable and made to last. It’s not soft and fluffy, it has a nice twist to it, so I don’t think it’ll pill or felt very easily. It’s fairly consistent throughout, not thick and thin, so it has nice stitch definition.
It’s the first yarn I ordered online {many moons ago}.
Bonus… it’s an affordable yarn too! :)
