Row 2, 4, 6, 8: *P*
Row 3 & 7: *K*
Row 5: K1 *P1, K3* P1, K2
Repeat Rows 1-8 until desired length.
Abbreviations:
*– * – repeat between the asterisks
CO – cast-on (long-tail cast-on method)
K – knit stitches (example: K1 means to knit 1 stitch)
P – purl stitches (example: P2 means to purl 2 stitches)
