Suggested Yarn: Lion Brand Wool Ease Thick & Quick
Needle Size: US 11 {8mm} Knitting Needles

Pattern:

CO in multiples of 8 stitches, plus 5
Row 1 = Right Side/Front

Row 1 & 3: K1 *YO, DD, YO, K5* YO, DD, YO, K1
Row 2, 4, 6, 8: *P*
Row 5: K1 *K3, YO, S1, K1, PSSO, K1, K2TOG, YO* K4
Row 7: K1 *YO, DD, YO, K1*
Repeat rows 1-8 until desired length

Abbreviations:

*– * – repeat between *
CO – cast-on {long-tail cast-on method}
K – knit stitches {K1 means to knit 1 stitch}
DD – Double decrease, K2TOG TBL return stitch to left needle, pass the next stitch over it and then slip it to the right needle
K2TOG TBL – Knit 2 stitches together through the back loops
P – purl stitches {P2 means to purl 2 stitches}
PSSO – pass slipped stitch over
