Pattern:
CO in multiples of 8, plus 10
Row 2 = Right side/Front
CO 18 STS
Rows 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11: *K2, P2* K2
Rows 2 & 4: *P2, K2* P2
Row 6: *P2, Tie6* P2
Rows 8 & 10: *P2, K2* P2
Row 12: P2, Tie2, P2 *Tie6, P2* P2, Tie2, P2
Repeat rows 1-12 until desired length
Abbreviations:
*– * – repeat between the asterisks
CO – cast-on (long-tail cast-on method)
K – knit stitches (example: K1 means to knit 1 stitch)
P – purl stitches (example: P2 means to purl 2 stitches)
STS – stitches
Tie2 – slip 2 STS onto a cable needle, wrap the working yarn from left to right around the 2 STS twice and then K2 STS off the cable needle
Tie6 – slip 6 STS onto a cable needle, wrap the working yarn from left to right around the 6 STS twice and then K2, P2, K2 STS off the cable needle

- Rows 2 & 4: *P2, K2* P2
- Row 6: *P2, Tie6* P2
- Rows 8 & 10: *P2, K2* P2
- Row 12: P2, Tie2, P2 *Tie6, P2* P2, Tie2, P2
- Repeat rows 1-12 until desired length
