Add some coziness to your WIP with this Crossing Pathways Cable Knit Stitch. It’s much easier than it looks… just watch the video below.

About the Stitch
The Crossing Pathways Cable Stitch consists of the same cable alternating on 2 rows. This stitch on repeat creates a beautifully thick & cozy fabric.
This is not a reversible pattern, meaning that the front and back are not the same.
There aren’t any increases or decreases, so you should always have the same number of stitches on the needles.
This is an interesting cable pattern! It uses knit & purl stitches and you slip stitches from the left side of the cable needle. What?! I almost didn’t learn this stitch because the instructions were so “complicated.” Once you watch the video you’ll be like “Oh, that’s it, that’s not so scary!” Well, at least that’s what I hope you’ll say. :)

Headband Notes
The CO edge is the width.
I like using circular knitting needle or DPN’s for a small swatch, it’s easier on my hands than full length straight needles.
You can use any category of yarn you’d like, just keep in mind that the thinner the yarn, the narrower your headband.
