Yardage: 35-45 yards (32 – 41 meters)

Pattern:
CO in multiples of 2, plus 1
Row 1 = Right side/Front

CO 9 STS
Row 1: K1 *CS*
Row 2: P1 *P1, P2TOG*
Row 3: K2 *CS* K1
Row 4: P2 *P1, P2TOG* P1
Repeat rows 1-4, until desired length
Note: After finishing rows 2 & 4 you should have the same number of STS you cast-on.
Abbreviations:
*– * – repeat between the asterisks
CO – cast-on (long-tail cast-on method)
CS – Couch Stitch – insert needle between STS 2 & 3, create loop, keep loop on right needle, S1KW {slip 1 knit-wise}, knit the 2nd stitch.
K – knit stitches (example: K1 means to knit 1 stitch)
P – purl stitches (example: P2 means to purl 2 stitches)
STS – stitches
