Welcome to Day 7 of the 21 Days of Lace Knit Stitches Series!
Learn how to knit this popcorn {baby bobble} lace knit stitch in the video tutorial below. This is a bit more of an advanced lace knit stitch. You only use 5 different stitches, and most of them we haven’t seen yet in this series.
I’d call this more of an airy stitch, rather than a lacy stitch. It has the ever so popular baby bobble stitches, which I see just about everywhere online and in person. Being so popular, I had to share this one!

Tip:
It took me a few tries to figure out what size of needles I wanted to use to achieve the look I wanted. I knitted a few swatches and determined that I liked a slightly loose stitch. It was neither too loose nor too tight, but somewhere just right in the middle, kinda like Goldilocks. I definitely recommend playing with this one before giving up on it. It’s one of my favorites, so far.
It curls a little bit on the edges, but not much. I think it would help to have a border around it to give it a little more structure.
It would probably benefit from being blocked too.
This stitch would work great for designing a chunky fall throw blanket or scarf.
