Knitting Abbreviations
* – * – repeat between *
BO – bind-off in pattern
CO – cast-on {long-tail cast-on method}
K – knit stitches {K1 means to knit 1 stitch}
MB – knit into front, back and front of next st, turn and knit these 3 sts, turn and purl, turn and knit these 3 sts, then turn and sk2po to complete the bobble.
P – purl stitches {P2 means to purl 2 stitches}
RS – right side
S1PW – slip 1 stitch purl-wise
SK2PO – slip one st knitwise, knit two sts together, pass slipped st over.
STS – stitches
T3B – slip next st onto cable needle and hold at back of work, knit next 2 sts from left hand needle, then purl st from cable needle.
T3F – slip next 2 sts onto cable needle and hold at front of work, purl next st from left hand needle, then knit 2 sts from cable needle.
T5BP – slip 3 sts onto cable needle and hold at back of work, knit next 2 sts from left hand needle, then p1, k2 from cable needle
WYIB – with yarn in back
WYIF – with yarn in front
