CO – cast-on {long-tail cast-on method}
INC1 – make 1 stitch {I use a backwards loop}
K2TOG – knit 2 stitches together
K3TOG – knit 3 stitches together, creating 1 stitch.
K – knit stitches {K1 means to knit 1 stitch}
P – purl stitches {P2 means to purl 2 stitches}
RS – right side
SSK – slip, slip, knit, Slip the first stitch to the right needle knit-wise, slip the second stitch to the right needle knit-wise, insert the left needle into the back of the 2 slipped stitches and knit together.
