Notes

Not reversible.
Knit in the round with a circular needle.
When knitting in the round you’re always knitting the right side of your work.

Knit flat, row by row, back & forth:

CO 72 STS, PM, join in the round.
Rounds 1-7: *K1, P2*
Flip it wrong-side out
Rounds 8-12:*K*
Note: Flipping it wrong-side out creates a small hole that you can sew up later, or leave it, I did, it’s only noticeable when you’re looking closely.

If you don’t want to flip it wrong-side out, you can purl the next 5 rows.}

Flip it right-side out
Rounds 13, 15, 17, 19: *K*
Rounds 14, 16, 18: *K1, P1*
Repeat rounds 8-19
Repeat rounds 8-12
Repeat rounds 1-6
BO in the K1, P2 pattern

End:
Weave in the ends.
No blocking necessary.
