Suggested Yarn: Morehouse Farm 3 Strand

Needle Size: US 10 {6mm} Knitting Needles with a 24″ {60cm} Cable

Extras: Stitch Marker



Measurements: 14″ wide x 14 1/2″ height {36cm x 37cm}

Gauge: 14 STS & 24 rounds per 4″ {10cm} square, knit in the pattern below

Not reversible.

CO edge is the circumference.

Knit bottom up or top down.

Knit using the broken rib knit stitch.

Knit in the round with a circular needle.

When knitting in the round you’re always knitting the right side of your work.


Pattern, Knit in the Round:

CO 102 STS, PM, join in the round

Round 1: *K1, P1*

Round 2: *K*

Repeat rounds 1 & 2 for 14″, or until you’re about out of yarn.

BO in the K1, P1 pattern

You can make this wider or narrower by increasing or decreasing in increments of 2.

I love the inside and outside look of this stitch, so it can be worn either way. ;)

Weave in the ends.
