Not reversible.

The CO edge is the height, folded in half.

Knit using the stockinette stitch.

Knit in the round with a circular needle.

When knitting in the round you’re always knitting the right side of your work.

You’re knitting a tube, double thickness, and then seaming the CO and BO edges together.

Pattern, Knit in the Round in the Magic Loop Method:

CO 40 STS, split 20 STS on each needle, join in the round.

Knit all rounds until desired length.

BO in all knit STS.

Sew the CO & BO edges together using the mattress stitch.

I made mine 18” {46cm} long. My head is 21 1/2” {55cm}.

It fits a little snug, but loosens up after a few wears.

Sew CO & BO edge together.

Weave in the ends.

No blocking necessary.

Notes to knit flat:

If you’re not a fan of the magic loop method. You can knit this flat.

CO the same number of STS, knit in StSt for desired length.

End on a WS row, BO in all Knit STS.

Sew the CO & BO edges together.

Fold the edges together and sew.

Weave in the ends.

* – * – repeat between *

BO – bind-off in pattern

CO – cast-on {long-tail cast-on method}

K – knit stitches {K1 means to knit 1 stitch}
