CO 39 {Baby}, 45 {XS}, 54 {S}, 63 {M}, 75 {L} {see size chart above} PM, join in the round
Rounds 1-40: *P2, K1* about 9″ or desired length.
Decrease for the Crown {switch to a longer cable to knit in the magic loop method}:
Round 1: *P2, K1, P2TOG, K1* P2, K1
Round 2: *P2TOG, K1, P1, K1* P2TOG, K1
Round 3: *P1, K1*
Round 4: *K2TOG, P1, K1* K2TOG
Round 5: *K2TOG, K2* K2TOG, K1
Round 6: *K2TOG, K1* K2TOG
Round 7: *K2TOG* K1
Without binding-off, cut the yarn leaving a 10” {25cm} tail, pull it through the remaining STS, push through the top hole to the inside and then weave in the ends.
Block {optional, I didn’t block mine in the photo}:
To block this hat, use a saucer. Like a teacup and saucer. ;) Put it inside the hat, so the bottom “swirl” is in the center of the saucer and the saucer is bulging outward, spritz it with some water, pat dry with a clean towel and let it dry overnight.
