Not reversible.

Knit cuff to toe.

This is a tube sock, no heel flap.

Knit using the rib & stockinette stitch.

Knit in the round with a circular needle.

When knitting in the round you’re always knitting the right side of your work.

Pattern, Knit in the Round, Magic Loop Method:

CO 44 STS, PM, split 22 STS on each needle, join in the round

Rounds 1-25 : *K1, P1*

Knit all remaining rounds until desired length {mine measures 14″ from the beginning}, minus 4 rounds for the toe.

Decrease for the Toe:

Round 1: *K2TOG TBL, K16, K2TOG*

Round 2: *K2TOG TBL, K14, K2TOG*

Round 3: *K2TOG TBL, K12, K2TOG*

Round 4: *K2TOG TBL, K10, K2TOG*

BO in all knit stitches and seam the toe closed.

Use the kitchener stitch to seam the toe closed.

Weave in the ends.

No blocking necessary.

Size Alterations:

CO on in increments of 2 to make it wider or narrower.

Side Note:

I found that when wearing them, they’re more comfortable to wear inside out. The cuff is the same either way. :)

These are meant to be oversized, but when I realized I could wear them with my Sperry boots, I wanted a pair that fit a little more snug, so for my next pair I’m going to CO 40 STS.

* – * – repeat between *

CO – cast-on {long-tail cast-on method}

K – knit stitches {K1 means to knit 1 stitch}

K2TOG – knit 2 stitches together
