In this video, I show you step-by-step how I knitted this scarf.
I hope it helps you create your very own.
I love everything about this scarf, especially the yarn! It’s soo cozy!
Pattern, Knit Flat {Back & Forth}:
CO 16 STS
Row 1 {WS}: *P*
Row 2 {RS}: *S1KW, K1, PSSO, YO* Instead of doing a YO for the last stitch, increase the stitch at the end of the row by creating a backwards loop.
Repeat rows 1 & 2 until your desired length.
Weave in the ends.
No blocking necessary.
Fringe:
Cut strips into 24” {61cm} lengths, you can make them as long or short as you’d like.
Hold the scarf with the front side up facing you. With the end pointing away from you.
Holding 2 scraps of yarn together, fold it in half and insert it into one of the bottom stitches, pull the 4 pieces of fringe through the hole and pull tight.
Using a crochet hook to pull the yarn through the hole.
Repeat for each stitch. I created 14 on each end.
