Yarn Weight: Worsted

Yardage: 45 – 55 yards {41 – 50 meters}

Suggested Yarn: Morehouse Farms 3-Strand

Needle Size: US 8 {5.5mm} Knitting Needles



Measurements, Finished: 3 1/4″ width x 7 1/4″ length {8cm x 18cm}

Gauge: 11 STS & 18 rows per 2″ {5cm} square, knit in the pattern below

Weight: 1.4oz {40g}



Not reversible.

Knit from cuff to fingertip.

Knit using the rib stitch & moss stitch.

Knit flat and then seamed.


Pattern, Knit Flat {Back & Forth}:


Row 2 = Front/Right Side


Rows 1-3: *P2, K2*

Rows 4-5: *K1, P1*

Rows 6-7: *P1, K1*

Repeat rows 4-7, 14 times, approximately 7 1/2” {19cm} from the beginning

Repeat row 1, 2 times. BO in pattern.


Sew up the seam:

I sewed up the first 4 1/2” and then the last 1” leaving a 2” gap for the thumb.


Weave in the ends.

Block, if desired.

Knit the second the same as the first.



If you’d like to increase or decrease the width, do so in increments of 2 stitches.

These fit nice and snug, which is how I want them.

You can increase or decrease the number of CO STS to achieve your desired fit.

FYI, My wrist circumference is 6”.
