Beginner Pattern, Knit Flat {Back & Forth}:

CO the required number of stitches for the size of blanket you’d like to knit, see Sizes section above.

Knit every row, garter stitch, until your desired length.

BO loosely.

Weave in the ends.

Block, if desired.

 

Advanced Beginner Pattern, Knit Flat {Back & Forth}:

{This version gives you a nice clean edge}

CO the required number of stitches for the size of blanket you’d like to knit, see Sizes section above.

Row 1 {set-up}: WYIF S1PW, *K*, WYIF S1PW

Row 2: K1TBL, *K*, WYIF S1PW

Repeat row 2 until desired length.

BO loosely.

Weave in the ends.

Block, if desired

 

Abbreviations:

* – * – repeat between * to end of round

BO – bind-off in pattern

CO – cast-on {long-tail cast-on method}

K – knit stitches {K1 means to knit 1 stitch}
