CO 17 STS = 13″ wide
CO 23 STS = 17″ wide
CO 27 STS = 20″ wide
CO 31 STS = 24″ wide

Knitting Abbreviations

*– * – repeat between * to end of round
BO – bind-off in pattern
CO – cast-on (long-tail cast-on method)
K – knit stitches (K1 means to knit 1 stitch)
P – purl stitches (P2 means to purl 2 stitches)
STS – stitches

Rug Pattern Instructions

CO 17 STS (or any odd # of STS)

Knit the seed stitch:
Row 1: *K1, P1* K1
Repeat row 1 until you’re about out of yarn.

BO in the K1, P1 pattern.

End:
Weave in the ends.
No blocking necessary.
