Notes

Reversible.
The CO edge is the width.
Knit using the garter stitch.
Knit flat, back & forth on circular needles.
A circular needle is used to accommodate the large number of CO stitches.

Knitting Abbreviations

*– * – repeat between * to end of round
BO – bind-off in pattern
CO – cast-on (long-tail cast-on method)
K – knit stitches (K1 means to knit 1 stitch)
K1TBL – knit 1 stitch through the back loop
P – purl stitches (P2 means to purl 2 stitches)
S1PW – slip one stitch purl-wise
STS – stitches
WYIF – with yarn in front

Beginner Pattern Instructions

CO 60 STS

All rows: Knit all the stitches

Repeat for 71” (180cm) or desired length or you run out of yarn.

BO loosely.

Weave in the ends.

Block, if desired.

Advanced Beginner Pattern Instructions

CO 60 STS

Row 1 (set-up): WYIF S1PW, K58, WYIF S1PW

Row 2: K1TBL, K58, WYIF S1PW

Repeat row 2 for 71” {180cm} or desired length.

BO loosely.

Weave in the ends.

Block, if desired.
