Eyelets & Bobbles Lace Knitting Stitch Pattern

This is an advanced beginner lace knit stitch, watch row-by-row instructions in the video tutorial below. Plus, learn a bobble stitch!
This stitch reminds me of stems with flowers on the ends. I learned a lot in this stitch. I like that you can increase 1 stitch, do a double decrease and then another increase stitch, it really makes the double decrease stitch pop. I love all the texture in this lace stitch!

Tip:
This stitch needs a border. It curls a little bit on the edges, but not much. I think it would help to have a border around it to give it a little more structure.
I would definitely block this stitch to help define the lace stitches.
This would look pretty going up the center of a sweater or add a border to make it a scarf.

Abbreviations:
* – * – repeat pattern
CO – cast-on {long-tail cast-on method}
K – knit stitches {K1 means to knit 1 stitch}
K1TBL – knit 1 stitch through the back loop
K3TOG – knit 3 stitches together
P – purl stitches {P2 means to purl 2 stitches}
RS – right side
S1PW – slip one stitch purl-wise
SK2PO – slip 1 stitch knit-wise, knit the next 2 stitches together, pass the slipped stitch over the knit stitches
STS – stitches
WYIF – with yarn in front
WS – wrong side
YO – yarn over
