Eyelets & Bobbles Lace Knitting Stitch Pattern

Swatch of the Eyelets & Bobbles Lace Knit StitchPin

Welcome to Day 18 of the 21 Days of Lace Knit Stitches Series!

This is an advanced beginner lace knit stitch, watch row-by-row instructions in the video tutorial below. Plus, learn a bobble stitch!

This stitch reminds me of stems with flowers on the ends. I learned a lot in this stitch. I like that you can increase 1 stitch, do a double decrease and then another increase stitch, it really makes the double decrease stitch pop. I love all the texture in this lace stitch!

Materials:

Tip:

This stitch needs a border. It curls a little bit on the edges, but not much. I think it would help to have a border around it to give it a little more structure.

I would definitely block this stitch to help define the lace stitches.

This would look pretty going up the center of a sweater or add a border to make it a scarf.
