Pattern:
CO in multiples of 6 stitches, plus 2
Row 1 = Right Side/Front
CO 14 STS
Row 1: K3 *CR, K4* CR, K3
Row 2-12 (even rows only): *P*
Row 3: *K2, CR, CL* K2
Row 5: K1 *CR, K2, CL* K1
Row 7: *CR, K4* CR
Row 9: K1 *CL, K2, CR* K1
Row 11: *K2, CL, CR* K2
Repeat rows 1-12 until desired length.
Abbreviations:
*– * – repeat between the asterisks
CO – cast-on (long-tail cast-on method)
CL – Knit into the back of the second stitch, and then the back of the first stitch and then slip both off.
CR – Knit into the front of the second stitch, and then the front of the first stitch and then slip both stitches off.
K – knit stitches (example: K1 means to knit 1 stitch)
P – purl stitches (example: P2 means to purl 2 stitches)
