Needles: US 9 {5.5mm}
Yarn: Simply Wool by Knit Picks
Pattern, Knit Flat:
CO in multiples of 4
This is not a reversible stitch, see the photos below
Row 2 = Right side/Front
For my swatch I CO 20 STS
Row 1: *P1, K3* {set-up row}
Row 2: *P3, K1* {knit the knits & purl the purls}
Row 3: *P1, K3* {knit the knits & purl the purls}
Row 4: *K*
Row 5: K2 *P1, K3* P1, K1 {set-up row}
Row 6: P1, K1 *P3, K1* P2 {knit the knits & purl the purls}
Row 7: K2 *P1, K3* P1, K1 {knit the knits & purl the purls}
Row 8: *K*
Repeat rows 1-8 until desired length.
If you’re not adding a border, to BO I recommend ending on a row 7 and BO in the row 8 pattern.
Abbreviations:
* – * – repeat pattern
BO – bind-off in pattern
CO – cast-on {long-tail cast-on method}
K – knit stitches {K1 means to knit 1 stitch}
P – purl stitches {P2 means to purl 2 stitches}
STS – stitches
