Materials:

Needles: US 9 {5.5mm}
Yarn: Swish Bulky by Knit Picks {This is my first time using this yarn and it’s so soft!}


Pattern, Knit Flat:

CO in multiples of 2
This is not a reversible stitch, see the photos below
Row 2 = Right side/Front

For my swatch I CO 20 STS

Row 01: *P1, K1*
Row 02: *K*
Row 03: *P1, K1*
Row 04: *K*
Row 05: *P1, K1*
Row 06: *K*
Row 07: *K* {knitting the stitches on the wrong side creates a purl stitch on the right side}
Row 08: *P*
Row 09: *K* {knitting the stitches on the wrong side creates a purl stitch on the right side}
Row 10: *K*
Repeat rows 1-10 until desired length.

If you’re not adding a border, to BO I recommend ending on a row 9 and BO in the row 10 pattern.


Abbreviations:

* – * – repeat pattern
BO – bind-off in pattern
CO – cast-on {long-tail cast-on method}
K – knit stitches {K1 means to knit 1 stitch}
P – purl stitches {P2 means to purl 2 stitches}
STS – stitches
