CO in multiples of 10, plus 1 (21, 31, 41, etc.)
Row 1 = Right side/Front
CO 21 STS
Row 1: K1 *YO, K3, S1PW, K2TOG, PSSO, K3, YO, K1*
Row 2, 4, 6, 8: *P*
Row 3: K1 *K1, YO, K2, S1PW, K2TOG, PSSO, K2, YO, K2*
Row 5: K1 *K2, YO, K1, S1PW, K2TOG, PSSO, K1, YO, K3*
Row 7: K1 *K3, YO, S1PW, K2TOG, PSSO, YO, K4*
Repeat rows 1-8, until desired length
Abbreviations:
*– * – repeat between asterisks
CO – cast-on (long-tail cast-on method)
K – knit stitches (example: K1 means to knit 1 stitch)
K2TOG – knit 2 stitches together
P – purl stitches (example: P2 means to purl 2 stitches)
PSSO – pass slipped stitch over
S1PW – slip one stitch purl-wise
STS – stitches
YO – yarn over
