Materials:

Size US 13 {9mm} needles
I used about 35-45 yards of a super bulky yarn
{I used Cloudborn Superwash Super Bulky Yarn.}

Pattern {Swatch with Border}:

CO 15 STS

Row 0: K4, P7, K4 {wrong side}

Row 1: K2, P2, K2TOG, (K1, YO twice) K1, SKPO, P2, K2
Row 2: K4, P7, K4
Row 3: K2, P2, K2TOG, YO, K3, YO, SKPO, P2, K2
Row 4: K4, P7, K4
Row 5: K2, P2, K1, YO, SKPO, K1, K2TOG, YO, K1, P2, K2
Row 6: K4, P7, K4
Row 7: K2, P2, K2, YO, SK2PO, YO, K2, P2, K2
Row 8: K4, P7, K4

Repeat rows 1 – 8 until desired length

Pattern {Swatch without Border}:

CO in multiples of 11

Row 0: K2, *P* K2 {wrong side}
Row 1: P2, K2TOG, (K1, YO twice) K1, SKPO, P2
Row 2: K2, *P* K2
Row 3: P2, K2TOG, YO, K3, YO, SKPO, P2
Row 4: K2, *P* K2
Row 5: P2, K1, YO, SKPO, K1, K2TOG, YO, K1, P2

Abbreviations:

* – * – repeat pattern
CO – cast-on {long-tail cast-on method}*
K – knit stitches {K1 means to knit 1 stitch}*
P – purl stitches {P2 means to purl 2 stitches}*
K2TOG – knit 2 stitches together
SKPO – slip 1 stitch purl-wise, knit the next stitch, pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch
SK2PO – slip 1 stitch purl-wise, knit 2 stitches together, pass the slipped stitch over the 2 stitches knitted together, decreasing 2 stitches
STS – stitches
YO – yarn over
