  • CO 15 STS
  • Row 0: K4, P7, K4 {wrong side}
  • Row 1: K2, P2, K2TOG, (K1, YO twice) K1, SKPO, P2, K2
  • Row 2: K4, P7, K4
  • Row 3: K2, P2, K2TOG, YO, K3, YO, SKPO, P2, K2
  • Row 4: K4, P7, K4
  • Row 5: K2, P2, K1, YO, SKPO, K1, K2TOG, YO, K1, P2, K2
  • Row 6: K4, P7, K4
  • Row 7: K2, P2, K2, YO, SK2PO, YO, K2, P2, K2
  • Row 8: K4, P7, K4
  • Repeat rows 1 – 8 until desired length

  • :) Abbreviations:

    • * – * – repeat pattern
    • CO – cast-on {long-tail cast-on method}*
    • K – knit stitches {K1 means to knit 1 stitch}*
    • P – purl stitches {P2 means to purl 2 stitches}*
    • K2TOG – knit 2 stitches together
    • SKPO – slip 1 stitch purl-wise, knit the next stitch, pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch
    • SK2PO – slip 1 stitch purl-wise, knit 2 stitches together, pass the slipped stitch over the 2 stitches knitted together, decreasing 2 stitches
    • STS – stitches
    • YO – yarn over
