Lightweight Scarf Knitting Pattern

Are you looking for the perfect lightweight scarf? That will keep you warm in all seasons without the bulk? This knitted scarf is the perfect amount of warm & cozy.

The first time I put this scarf on, my body relaxed and sighed with relief. I didn’t understand why this scarf felt so good, I just knew that it did. A couple of weeks later I came across an ad about “the scarf that was taking the fashion world by storm.” I don’t normally read ads let alone click on them… but I was curious especially since I just finished my scarf and didn’t understand why it made me feel so relaxed. Well, the article didn’t scientifically explain why this scarf is so amazing, but it made me feel connected to others who are looking for a lightweight yet warm summer scarf.

Check out the original scarf on Ovcio… and another option on Amazon. 😉

I love having a lightweight scarf option to wear during the summer months while the AC is blowing!

Yarn & Substitutions

Yarn Weight: Worsted
# of Skeins: 2 @ 50g/130m each
Yardage: 284 yards (260 meters)
Suggested Yarn: Wool and the Gang, The Feeling Good Yarn, Seashell Beige

I compared The Feeling Good Yarn to Knit Picks Wonderfluff and even though both skeins are 50g and 130m, and all the other stats are similar, I found that the Wonderfluff was a little thinner. Maybe it was just the skein that I got, idk. I do know, that if you’re looking for a less expensive option, Wonderfluff is definitely worth a try!

Row 2 (RS): K1TBL, *K1, K1B* K1, K1TBL

Repeat rows 2-3 until you’ve used up 2 skeins of yarn or desired length.

Weave in the ends.

Blocking isn’t required, but steaming is highly recommended. It loosens up the stitches making it more relaxed and cozy.
