Notes

Reversible.
Knit starting at the tip.
The tip is a little off-center.
Knit flat, back & forth using circular needles.
Knit holding 2 strands of yarn together throughout.
Knit using the moss stitch, also known as the double seed stitch.
Circular needles are used to accommodate the large number of CO stitches.

Knitting Abbreviations

*– * – repeat between * to end of round
BO – bind-off in pattern
CO – cast-on (long-tail cast-on method)
K – knit stitches (K1 means to knit 1 stitch)
KFB – knit the stitch, before slipping off, knit another stitch into the back of the same stitch, slip to right needle
P – purl stitches (P2 means to purl 2 stitches)
STS – stitches

Knitting Pattern Instructions

Using 2 strands of yarn

CO 1 STS

Row 1: KFB

Row 2: K1, KFB

Row 3: K1, P1, KFB (knit the purls, purl the knits)

Row 4: *K1, P1* K1, KFB (knit the knits, purl the purls)

Row 5: *K1, P1* KFB (knit the purls, purl the knits)

Repeat rows 4-5 for 40” (100cm) or until you have approx. 262 STS on your needles, or until you’ve reached your desired size. :)

BO in pattern.

Weave in the ends.

Steam-block lightly.
