Row 5: *K1, P1* KFB {knit the purls, purl the knits}

BO in pattern.

I lightly blocked this, meaning, I spritzed it with water, patted the excess water and then lightly stretched it. I didn’t use and pins or wires. It doesn’t really need it, but to even out the stitches a little bit.

Notes:

This is a 2 row repeat, however the pattern actually a 4 row repeat. You’ll end up with 2 K1, P1 rows and then 2 P1, K1 rows, but because you’re increasing 1 stitch per row it throws it off, in other words it makes it a bit confusing. Once you’ve knit a dozen or so rows, you’ll start to see the pattern.

Example below:
Row 4: K P K P K
Row 1: K P K P K
Row 2: P K P K P
Row 3: P K P K P

This shawl is knit from the tip up.
The tip is a little off-center.
