Beginner Pattern, Knit Flat {Back & Forth}:
CO 25 STS {or any odd number of STS}
All rows: *K1, P1* {Seed Stitch, knit the purl stitches and purl the knit stitches}
Work in Seed Stitch for 1 full skein of yarn.
End:
Leave enough yarn to bind off and sew seam.
BO in pattern.
Sew CO & BO edges together.
Weave in the ends.
Block, if desired.
Advanced Beginner Pattern, Knit Flat {Back & Forth} with a clean edge:

Knit until you’ve used up almost 1 skein of yarn, or desired length.
Leave enough yarn to bind off and sew seam.
