I’m in love with this Faded Cocoon Knitting Pattern. It’s made with hand-dyed speckled yarn! This was my first time using yarn speckled yarn, it added a whole new level of enjoyment!
:) About the Pattern:
- Knits up in about 35-40 hours
- Beginner skill level {Super Easy}
- Includes 4 sizes
- Adult women sizes XS, S, M, L
- Includes a written pattern, no chart
- Knit flat using knit & purl stitches only
:) Notes:
I didn’t include larger sizes because I used up almost all 5 skeins to create this cocoon. However, you can make it larger and add a 6th skein or you can purchase 2 skeins of each color and make each section a little longer and/or wider. If you do the latter then you might have quite a bit of yarn leftover.
Materials:
- Approximately 1000 Yards of a Worsted Yarn
- {You’ll use more yarn for large or less yarn for the smaller sizes.}
- {I used 5 skeins of Lenora from Amy at Noble Character Crafts (Etsy).}
- Size US 7 {4.5mm} Knitting Needles with a 32″ {80cm} Cable
- {To block, I used blockers, pins and blocking wires by Knitterās Pride.}
- Darning Needle
- Scissors
