Gauge: 12 STS & 36 rounds per 4″ {10cm} square, knit in the pattern below

Weight: 4.4oz {125g}

Notes:

Not reversible.

Knit top down or bottom up.

Knit using the herringbone twill knit stitch.

Knit in the round with a circular needle.

When knitting in the round you’re always knitting the right side of your work.

At the beginning of every round, except round 1, remove the stitch marker, slip 1 ST from LH needle to the RH needle, replace the stitch marker

You can end this pattern on any round you like, so I added more rounds to the checklist below if you’d like to make it taller.

This is a very versatile cowl because you can CO in increments of 4 and end on whichever row you like :) So you can easily alter it to fit your style!

I knitted the adult size cowl in the photo.
