Not reversible.
Knit bottom up.
Knit using the rib & stockinette stitch.

Pattern, Knit in the Round

CO the number of STS from the chart above, PM, join in the round.

Bottom rib:
Rows 1-4: *K2, P2*

Body:
Knit all rounds until it measures 14″ (35.5cm) from the beginning, or until desired length.

Top Front Pattern, Knit Flat

Switch to knitting flat. From here on out knit flat, working one side at a time, the front and back are the same.

Next row: K52, put 52 STS on a place holder or scrap piece of yarn

Row 1 (WS): *P*
Row 2 (RS): *K*
Row 3 (WS): *P*
Row 4 (RS): SKPO, *K*, last 2 stitches: K2TOG
Repeat rows 1-4, 4 times or until desired width

Before the decreases it measures 14″ (35.5cm) across, after the decreases it measures 11″ (28cm) across

Note: Decrease until you’ve reached your desired width, knit in stockinette until you’ve reached your desired height.

Next Row (WS): *P*
Repeat 2 rows above until you’ve reached your desired arm hole size.

Top Ribbing:

Rows 1-4: *K1, P1*
Row 5: BO in pattern
Repeat the “Top Front Pattern” for the back.

Straps:

With the wrong sides together, seam along the top starting from the outside, sew 4 STS together, approximately 1″ (2.54cm). Repeat on the opposite side.

Weave in the ends.
Steam-block lightly.
